We have booked our honeymoon! We are going to St. Lucia in the Caribbean Islands. Friends and family are welcome to come with us and stay at any of the other islands. :) We decided to stay at two different resorts for the week. For the first few days, we're going to do a Sandal's all-inclusive stay.
The resort is right on the water and I hear they even have butlers that will swim through pools to bring you drinks. Fun!! It'll be nice to relax on the beach after the busy-ness of the wedding! John wants to do some snorkeling, but I'm a little nervous to be swimming with the fishes nibbling at my legs...but I might be brave for him.
After a few days of unwinding, we should be ready for a new adventure, so we're staying at Ladera, which is a resort set up in the mountains of St. Lucia. The rooms at Ladera have only three walls, the fourth opens right out to the cliffs, the mountains, and the ocean. The views look AMAZING! Once we're up in the mountains we can take volcano tours, go to the local towns, take zipline rides through the rain forest...it should be fun!
