We have an official date... July 25, 2009! As my friend Jenny pointed out, it's like Christmas in July, so Merry Christmas everyone! :)John and I made a deposit on our reception hall today, so we are going with the 25th. We are still waiting for the church to confirm the date, but we're pretty sure that will be OK. If not, we have quite a few friends who are ministers, so one way or another we will be married by the end of that day!
We will be having the reception at The Medalist golf course on N Drive North in Marshall. We'll have maps later, but you can check out the link below to see pictures. It will be outdoors under a white tent, so we're hoping to do a nice summer picnic type reception. They did say they'll have fans just in case it's hot (hot? in the middle of July?) and they said the bathrooms have air conditioning, so hopefully you'll find some way to keep cool! (There is a small pond, but I wouldn't recommend swimming). It should be a great night!
